Beginning January 23, 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be REQUIRED to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document, or an Alien Registration Card, Form I-551, if applicable.

Allegiant Air Announces Low-Cost Service

from Grand Island to Las Vegas

starting September 4, 2008

 The new route will operate two times weekly between Central Nebraska Regional Airport (GRI) and McCarran International Airport (LAS), with service Thursday and Sunday.  Flights will depart Grand Island at 12:40 p.m. arrive in Las Vegas at 1:20 p.m.  Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 7:35 a.m. arriving in Grand Island at 12 p.m. (all flights are local).  The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route.

 The Las Vegas-based carrier will inaugurate the new, nonstop flights to Las Vegas from Grand Island Sept. 4 with introductory fares as low as $79* one-way. Allegiant’s $79* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by August 23, 2008 and is valid for travel through Jan. 31, 2009.  Introductory fares are not available on all flights.  After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $99 one-way. 

 Through its Allegiant Vacations program, the company also offers complete air and hotel vacation packages to the city for as low as $266* per person for four-nights, roundtrip (based on double-occupancy, stay at the Vegas Club Hotel & Casino with a Sunday arrival and Thursday departure.  Travel must be completed by Sept. 29, 2008.
