Tour Itinerary:

May 6th: Departure this morning from Grand Island with pick up along Interstate 80 going East.  Continental breakfast will be served along the way.  Tour the Templeton Distillery this morning.  Lunch (included) and tour of the Hausbarn in Manning, Iowa.  Check in this afternoon to the Hotel Pattee in Perry, Iowa.  We will have an opportunity to view all of the rooms at this great hotel.  Dinner this evening included at the hotel.

May 7th: Following breakfast (included) at the hotel, we will board the motor coach for Pella, Iowa for the Pella tulip Festival.  We will start the day with a step-on guided tour of Pella, followed by lunch (included) at the Trinity Reformed Church.  This afternoon we will have reserved seating for the parade.  Free time following the parade to visit the Historical Village, The Vermeer Windmill and the Scholte House as well as the beautiful gardens.  Lodging this evening at the Hampton Inn in West Des Moines.  Dinner at the Machine Shed (included) this evening.

May 8th: Today, following breakfast included at the hotel, we will travel to Winterset for a step-on guided tour of the Madison County Bridges followed by lunch (included) at the Wildwood Ranch.  This afternoon we will visit John Wayne's birthplace before heading home.

 

Cancellation Policy:  Deposit is refundable until time of final payment.  After final payment is made, a refund will be given, less any amount that is nonrefundable to Gannon Travel.  If cancellation is less than 48 hours prior to departure, the entire amount is nonrefundable.  Cancellation insurance is available upon request.
